The folding system in one of the embodiments consists of four rigid plate parts A, B, C, D.

In the embodiment of FIG. 6, the plate parts A, B, C and D are arranged linearly and fixed in pairs by fasteners, i.e. AB, CD and EU.
The arrangement in a closed system (FIG. 7) includes twelve laminar parts, labeled A-L. The fasteners are connected in four, i.e. ABCD, EFGH, AIJE, DKIH, however, a pair-wise connection may also be performed, as in FIG.
The arrangement in two rows (Fig. 8) includes eight plate-like parts, designated A-H. In this embodiment, the fasteners are connected in four parts, i.e. ACEG, BDFH, CDEF.
Finally, a variant of connecting the plates into a spatial figure includes six plate-like parts. This spatial arrangement can be obtained from a flat arrangement and vice versa.
